Our Scholarship and Mentoring initiative aims to support and empower students and community members through educational opportunities and personalized guidance. By providing annual scholarships, we invest in the academic success of deserving students, ensuring they have the resources needed to pursue higher education. In addition, our mentoring programs offer youth and adults in the Roseland community valuable support, guidance, and encouragement. From mentoring sessions to school support and health fairs, this initiative is dedicated to fostering growth, leadership, and long-term success. |
The Community Service initiative is at the heart of our commitment to uplifting and supporting underserved communities. Each year, we identify pressing needs and develop projects that directly address those challenges. Through food drives, health fairs, school supply donations, and other outreach activities, we strive to make a positive impact and create meaningful change. Our goal is to serve with purpose, compassion, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of those around us. |
Our Mission is to Implement and contribute to programs that enable and empower Young Women of Color that represent cultures from Around the World in our Chicagoland community, 2024 sponsored events and programs include Pathways to Purpose Program, Peace Corps project(s) in Africa, and the Mombasa Initiative. Through the Lois Robinson International Relations committee, we expand our impact beyond local communities to address global challenges. From supporting schools abroad to creating awareness around global impact topics, our initiative aims to build bridges, foster global understanding, and contribute to positive change on an international scale.
