On June 15, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting a Chat and Sip event with Tameka Raymond Foster, renowned stylist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. During this engaging session, Tameka shared insights from her new book, Here I Stand... in a Beautiful State, a deeply personal memoir that explores her journey through many aspects. The conversation delved into her creation of the Oakland Natives Give Back (ONGB) Foundation where their aim was to give back to the children in the community in which they were raised. Other Foundations include "Kile's World Foundation" honoring her son. Their mission is "Gifting children with endless possibilities of creative endeavor through applied, fine and performing arts“.  

This event was made possible through our partnership with the Lambda Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., reflecting our shared commitment to uplifting and inspiring others. It was a memorable evening of connection, storytelling, and empowerment.
